New 2024 Mitsubishi Triton Interior And Exterior Changes

The 2024 Mitsubishi Triton is set to be the most significant and boldest model of the Triton yet. It will be powered by a 2.4-liter turbodiesel engine with 178 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque and a 2.4-liter petrol engine with 126 hp and 143 lb-ft of torque. Depending on your preference, it can be paired with a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox. The first spy shots show that it will have an updated front fascia, a more prominent grille, refreshed daytime running lights, and an overhauled interior.

In terms of performance, we expect the Triton to improve even more by adding a possible plug-in hybrid powertrain. Although this powertrain is more likely to be offered in the L200 truck, the Triton could still benefit from some improvement. Safety-wise, the Triton has been consistently awarded 5-star safety ratings in the US, making it one of India’s top 20 safest cars.

Compared to the Toyota HiLux, the entry-level Triton offers just as much pulling power, but the HiLux has a higher towing capacity limit. Ultimately, the Triton is reliable and offers excellent value for money. As the development of the next generation Triton has already begun, the official debut is expected by the end of 2022. The release date is predicted to be sometime during the fall of the same year.
