The 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander is a four-door crossover SUV with three rows of seating and room for up to seven passengers. The vehicle features a futuristic design with a large grille and small headlights, as well as 20-inch wheels and power liftgate. Under the hood, the Outlander is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. It comes standard with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is available as an option.
The base price for the entry-level Outlander is about $27,000, but for more advanced features and technology, buyers can opt for the mid-level SEL model that comes with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, head-up display, and driver assistance features like adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist, among others. The Outlander PHEV, which features a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and two electric motors generating a combined 248 horsepower, is expected to be available in 2023, with a price tag somewhere in the middle of the range.

Power, putting it in the 76th percentile for compact SUV perceived reliability rankings. That said, some Outlander owners have reported issues with the blower motor and/or blower motor resistor, which is known to affect models from the 2003-2005, 2007-2011, and 2014-2015 model years.
