2024 Mitsubishi Eclipse Upgrade
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a compact SUV that was introduced in 2021, and is set to receive an upgrade for the 2024 model year. The most recent version of the Eclipse Cross has a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine that produces 152 horsepower and is paired with an all-wheel drive system and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). It has an EPA rating of 25 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined.
New Exterior Upgrade
The exterior of the Eclipse Cross has an aggressive look, thanks to its dynamic shield grille, wraparound headlamps, and aerodynamic body styling. For 2024, it will feature new 18-inch wheel designs, LED headlights and fog lights, and a black edition trim level. Inside, the cabin has a modern design and plenty of cargo space for a small family, with six carry-on suitcases behind the rear seats and 17 total with the seats folded.
In terms of performance, the Eclipse Cross handles corners with ease, offering a smooth ride and low noise, even over rough surfaces. However, its acceleration is somewhat sluggish, due to its four-cylinder engine and CVT. On the other hand, it is more economical than many of its competitors, and its interior features are satisfactory at its price point. The Eclipse Cross is expected to be released in September 2023.
